Our event calendar is a reflection of our commitment to community and is designed to provide opportunities for education, engagement, and connection. At the Dallas Housing Coalition, we believe that access to stable and quality housing is essential to the overall health of the Dallas community. We are committed to doing everything we can to make attainable housing a reality for all. We believe that by coming together as a community, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and for future generations.

Here are our upcoming meetings and events:

  • 9 AM – 12 PM, Wednesday, April 1, Pack City Hall for the State of Dallas Housing full City Council Briefing

  • 3 PM - 4:30 PM, Thursday, April 9, our next hybrid member meeting (calendar invitation with details sent to all DHC members)

  • 6 PM – 7:30 PM, April 23, 2026, +ONE: Duplexes and other Homeownership Solutions with buildingcommunityWORKSHOP & local leaders

  • Thursday morning, May 7, a forthcoming event on Accessory Dwelling Units to be announced

  • In early June, the unveiling of an “Understanding Dallas’ Housing History & Zoning Legacy” Project led by Jerry L. Hawkins, M.Ed.

380+ Attendees Explore This Year’s Theme

Growth without Displacement

On November 21, 2025, the Dallas Housing Coalition hosted its 2nd Annual Housing Summit with over 380 attendees, including housing advocates, policymakers, developers, and community leaders. We also hosted our first-ever Mixed-Income Housing Sites Bus Tour, a kickoff reception, and inaugural Resident Housing Summit. We look forward to enhancing this programming further in 2026!

On November 21, 2024, the Dallas Housing Coalition hosted its first-ever Housing Summit with over 280 attendees, including a diverse mix of elected officials, nonprofits, for-profits, community members, faith-based organizations, developers, and students.

Pack City Hall - State of Dallas Housing Briefing

Please join us at 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM, Wednesday, April 1 to “Pack City Hall” for an eagerly anticipated State of Dallas Housing Briefing in front of Mayor Eric Johnson and the full City Council.

At 9 AM, we will start gathering in the Flag Room on the 6th Floor of City Hall (1500 Marilla Street, Dallas TX 75201), then enter the Council Chambers together by 9:30 AM after the special Council resolutions and proclamations conclude.⠀

Wear your blue DHC branded t-shirts. We will also have them available the morning of.
